Frisia Donders (1974) studied Art History at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Her dissertation focused on the contemporary reuse of industrial buildings in and around Brussels. The Belgian capital and the arts have remained at the center of her work ever since. She has managed the socially-engaged theater company Dito Dito, as well as an arts center located in an abandoned railway station. The center, titled recyclart, is also functioning as a platform from which national and international artists launch their careers.
For the past seven years, Frisia has been working as partnership manager at SMart Coop, an one-stop shop for freelancers. Here, she is proud to be able to help others realize their projects.
